Landscape Crew Supervisor

We are currently searching for a responsible self-starter to support the owner as our new Crew Supervisor. The Crew Supervisor will assist the owner in overseeing the installation of new landscaping, the maintenance of existing grounds, constructing new paver patios and retaining walls, monitoring and training workers, operating construction equipment, ensuring staff adherence to safety guidelines, and completing various administrative duties.

Our successful new Crew Supervisor will manage personnel effectively and efficiently, be hands-on and detail-oriented, focus on customer satisfaction, be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and enable a fun working environment.

This position has a starting rate of $20-$24/hour, based upon years of landscaping experience.

Responsibilities include:
● Drive company truck and trailer
● Supervise landscape installation and maintenance work from start to finish
● Execute hardscape installations
● Read and carry out landscape plans and drawings
● Operate lawn, landscape, and construction equipment
● Oversee and maintain job tools and equipment
● Participate in strategic company decision-making
● Share in developing company employment policies

Skills and Qualifications:
● Landscaping or construction experience
● Effective leadership abilities
● Good communication skills
● Ability to positively interact with customers
● Safe driving record

Requirements:
● High School diploma or GED
● Valid Driver’s License
● Ability to pass MVR check
● Be able to perform rigorous daily physical work and consistently lift 60+ lbs.

Zepernick Landscaping is seeking a Landscape Crew Member to join our growing company. $15/ hr

General Responsibilities:

- Install plants, mulch, edging, seed and sod, hardscaping, and other landscape materials
- Perform landscape maintenance including weeding, pruning, edging beds, debris cleanup
- Assist the foreman in preparing for jobs, loading and unloading tools and equipment, job set up and clean up, truck and equipment maintenance, and other daily tasks.

General Requirements:

- Good communication skills
