We have an open position for a Lighting Retrofit tech for the remainder of our contract with the Lake Nona VA Hospital. This is a federal project that pays $25.97 per hour. Our schedule is (4) 10-hour days, M-Th. The VA hospital requires all contractors be vaccinated for Covid-19 and to possess an OSHA-10 certification. The OSHA certification course can be provided online to qualified candidates. We have about 3 months left on this current contract, and there will be other opportunities following. Experience in lighting retrofit/maintenance is highly preferred. Job requires working from a 6' ladder throughout the shift, moderate lifting, and the ability to maintain an acceptable level of productivity. Call 386-304-0722 for more info. Now Hiring Lighting Techs, Retrofitters, and Helpers for LED projects throughout the state of Florida. Qualified persons will be willing to travel 4 days per week (transportation, hotel, and per diem provided) to work with small crews converting fluorescent lighting to LED. Pay is commensurate with experience, though direct experience is not required. Will provide training on-site to qualified applicants. Some project locations have included: Hendry County School District, Verizon Communications Lake Mary, Patrick Air Force Base, Kennedy Space Center, Lake County Schools, Volusia County Schools, Florida Department of Corrections, and also some other Federal facilities out of state. Applicant must pass criminal screening and Drug screening, have a valid Driver's License, be able to work from a ladder throughout a 10-hour shift, lift 50 lbs, and pass OSHA 10-hour safety training. The Warehouse Associate is a self-motivated individual who will be responsible for coordinating, receiving, and organizing large deliveries of electrical and lighting materials to our shop locations in Daytona Beach. Other duties will include sorting and transfer of recyclable materials, light fleet maintenance, and fleet/equipment transport to construction sites and repair shops as needed. Position is 40 hours per week, with overtime opportunities regularly. Position requires a valid and clean driver's license.
