The customer was having a new pool patio and turf installed and wanted to add privacy around the property with a beautiful hedge.

We installed (18) 15-gallon Podocarpus, approximately 4–5 feet tall, spaced about 3 feet apart. As they mature, these plants can put on roughly a foot of growth per year, eventually filling in to create a lush, natural privacy hedge. 🌿

It’s pretty awesome seeing the transformation of this backyard from start to finish! The new pool patio, turf, and privacy hedge completely changed the look and feel of the property. 🔥

🪨 Backyard River Rock Transformation in DeBary, FL

This backyard had limited access, with paver walkways on both sides of the home and no machine access available. So we did it the old-school way, wheelbarrows, hard work, and manual labor! 💪

We removed the existing mulch along the back side of the screen enclosure and hauled it away. We then installed commercial-grade w**d prevention, trimmed and cleaned up the surrounding plants and trees, and prepared the area for the new rock.

We installed 7 tons of 3/4”–1 1/2” Brown River Rock, spread approximately 2–3 inches thick throughout the backyard.

Once the installation was complete, we washed down the rock to remove dust from the rock yard and thoroughly cleaned and blew off the property, leaving our customer with a clean, finished, low-maintenance rockscape.

Another retaining wall project completed! 💪

This customer had an old 2x12 wood retaining wall that was completely rotting away. Once we started demolition, we discovered there was another failing wall hidden behind it.

We removed both walls, cleared the area, and cut the bank back to give us the room needed for a proper installation. We then installed and compacted a solid paver base before building the new retaining wall with multiple courses of railroad ties, each securely anchored with rebar.

To finish the project, we backfilled behind the wall, installed fresh Bahia sod, and ran the irrigation system to ensure the new sod had proper water coverage for a healthy start.
