Oh the things we do to appease arborists and neighbors when working on projects... When removing this section of driveway and re-pouring we were required to have an arborist on site and only use hand tools to take out the old concrete. It definitely adds cost to the project, but if it makes people happy...then let's do it. We really do want to be good neighbors on our projects.

Drove by the Airabella 137 acre site off Route 44 and Linger Longer Rd over the weekend and there is not much activity still after a Fall 2022 ground breaking ceremony. This would be a great amenity for the Lake Oconee community, but is getting some NIMBY push back for density and traffic. Let's keep an eye on this and see how it shakes out. Would love to see it come together.

It's always cool to see your old projects hit the market and see how they've held up over time. This home at 195 Laurel Ave was the first fix and flip we did on the West side in Mozley Park. We bought it in 2017 for $85k, renovated and sold it for $300k later that year. That owner solid it in 2021 for $375k and now it is on the market for $488k. Neighborhoods sure can change quickly and love to see Mozley Park thriving as it is. Good houses, good location, and great people in the community! Happy to show it and help you buy it if you are interested of course :).

Shout out to the amazing Libby Quiner Holt and Jon Holt for the invite to learn more about the state of metro Atlanta region this morning at the ARC annual state of the region event at world congress center. My takeaways from this morning: we need to focus on affordable housing issues, closing the digital divide, transportation and incentives for our youth to learn the trades and attend trade schools. (They even got me to wear a sport coat…)
