The Pot Stand Located in Decatur, Illinois. Established in 2022. Specializing in plant design, care, and consulting - with an emphasis on mindfulness and self-care.

All plants come potted in a fresh, handmade mix tailored to a plant's specific soil requirements. If a plant is pictured in a decorative pot, the pot is included with your purchase. Ultimately the goal here is hassle-free plant parenting, so let's get started!

“Our pet’s heads are falling off!”

Ok- not exactly an animal, but this is Fred.
He’s my classroom life size skeleton that we use almost daily in anatomy.
First he dropped his head, but now he broke a leg AND is missing a wheel… he’s currently on ‘bed rest.’

I’m going to be putting aside my $5 Friday sales to source enough to purchase him by the end of the month.

Ag, Horticulture, and Biology are teaming up for a very hands-on scientific investigation about plants, their environment, and adaptation!!

This definitely wasn’t on my syllabus for 1st quarter - but I’m here for it!!
