Another construction loan is officially closed and funded- which means we’re cleared to break ground and get things moving.

This is always one of the most exciting steps in the process. Months of planning, budgeting, and coordination all come together so we can start bringing a home to life.

We’re grateful for great, local partners that help make this process smooth and keep projects on track from day one.

Trim has been installed, and paint and stain are being applied at the Oak Creek Addition.

What was once framing and rough-ins is now turning into something personal- a space you can walk through and picture daily life unfolding.

This stage is such a turning point- when the space starts feeling like your home.

Sometimes progress starts with a clean slate.

This Arthur Street property had reached the end of its life- so we’re clearing it out and starting fresh.

Excited to bring a new build here, designed with intention and built the right way from day one.

So proud of Matt and the heart he carries for others 🤍

He’s in Honduras this week with a group of men to build homes for families in need through Building Hope- in honor of my cousin and his friend, Casey Duncum.

Creating spaces where people feel safe, welcomed, and truly at home is what he does so well. I’m so thankful for his heart toward others and his willingness to serve 🤍

Thank you to those who coordinated the trip and for all those who have donated to so faithfully.

Four years of MKH Custom Co. 🤍

What started as a leap of faith has grown into something we’re incredibly grateful for- getting to design and build homes that truly mean something to the families who live in them.

To every client who has trusted us over the past four years with your home- thank you. It’s not something we take lightly. Being invited into that process is an honor, and we’re grateful for each and every project we’ve been a part of.

We’re excited for what’s ahead- the homes we have in progress, the ones still on paper, and the new relationships yet to come. Our goal remains the same: to add value to our community by creating spaces that feel like home.

Most importantly, we thank God for every opportunity He’s placed in front of us- we are committed to stewarding them well.

Snow days hit North Texas, but we beat the weather to the punch ❄️
This Oak Creek Addition was dried-in just in time before our little winter wonderland rolled through.

Now the thaw begins and construction picks back up — proof that good planning keeps projects moving, even when Texas forgets it’s Texas. ☀️
