Fact: Your air conditioner cools at the same rate no matter what temperature you set. Lowering it too much just makes your system run longer than necessary.

If your AC feels like it’s struggling on really hot days… it might not actually be broken.
Most systems are designed to keep your home about 20° cooler than the temperature outside. So when it’s pushing 95°, your AC is already working at its limit.
That said, if you’re noticing:
• Warm air coming from vents
• Weak airflow
• The system running nonstop with no improvement
