This story here is a great example of fire sprinklers saving lives and property. Without sprinklers there most certainly would've been at least one life lost and probably more. There also would've been so much damage to the building. The fire department was definitely appreciativate of the assist from the fire sprinkler system according to the article.

The fire happened Monday evening at Hanover Place, 168th and Harlem Avenue.
