Little front door update!

From worn-out to built to last. This particular project required a top-to-bottom transformation. The old, failing decking was removed and replaced with an EPDM rubber roof system, providing full protection. The new Trex decking was finished to a high standard, offering a clean, low-maintenance surface. Underneath, the moldy carpet was removed, and the space was thoroughly cleaned. The existing stone was deep cleaned and refreshed, and a custom tongue & groove car siding ceiling was installed. Porcelain tile flooring was laid, and a new floor drain was added to ensure proper water management. This space is now built to withstand the elements while maintaining its aesthetic appeal. We’ve got some really cool things coming together on this one…
Just started milling and prepping custom tongue & groove for a ceiling that’s going to completely transform this space. The character in this wood is unreal, and once it’s installed and finished, it’s going to bring a ton of warmth and detail to the area.
This is one of those projects where the little things matter — layout, finish, and craftsmanship all coming together the right way.

✨ BEFORE ➡ AFTER — Another Tide & Timber transformation!
What started as a tired, leaking patio is now a beautiful, fully-waterproof outdoor living space built to last for decades.
We installed a full EPDM rubber roofing system with integrated drainage, then built a floating deck system on top and finished it with Trex® Transcend in Jasper using hidden fasteners for a clean, seamless look.
The result?
A dry, protected structure below and a gorgeous, low-maintenance deck above — no exposed screws, no rot, no worries.
This is one of those projects where the photos really tell the story, but the best part is the homeowner reaction:

We’ve been cooking up something seriously cool this week… 👀

This elevated patio transformation is officially underway — old surface stripped, EPDM protected, new sleeper system laid out, and some beautiful finishing touches on the way.
