Sun Mountain Lumber was proud to host Deer Lodge and Drummond high school students for Forest Products Appreciation Week! This time we did not get to the woods because of muddy conditions but these troopers were happy to take a mill tour and see logging equipment in our yard. They mostly like the free lunch. Thank you to Montana DNRC, Montana Logging Association and Adam Parke for helping out!

We had a visit from Missoula's Hellgate High School and had a great tour with the Building Trades students! A big thank you to Chip Rinehart for being such an engaged instructor and bringing us a really excellent bunch of students!

Not sure where summer went, but it was gone in a flash! So fast in fact that students are back in school. Luckily, we had the pleasure of hosting University of Montana Forestry School students for a tour of our facility in Deer Lodge. Thank you to Beth Dodson Professor, Forest Operations Program Director. That's a salty bunch of forestry students!
