A friendly, well-staffed, full-service woodworking shop specializing in the construction and repair of wood-based products such as furniture and cabinetry. We design and build everything from dolphin-shaped pearl-inlaid jewelry boxes to garages. We match and restore antiques and we take your wild ideas and turn them into functional items or areas. I’ve had a friend for a long time, and she turned out to be a fantastic artist. This piece by was painted in watercolor onto a slice of birch bark, then hand-stitched with colored thread, adding depth and texture, and then taken a step further with individually stitched 3-dimensional wings.
And now… it’s set into a frame I got it make for it.
The frame is made from quarter-sawn white oak, lacewood, and ebony.

Hey people, Mountain Standard Builders is hiring. With three homes currently under construction in Deer Lodge, our specialties include framing, drywall hanging/taping/texturing, flooring, tile, cabinetry, paint, finish carpentry, countertops, and the occasional TikTok video.
