URGENT Local Foster Home Need today for 11 yr old Bossie! (NY, NJ, CT).

Bossie is an 11 year old, very handsome, black and white male Cocker Spaniel. Sadly, his owner died and he is being temporarily cared for by a relative. He was scheduled to be dropped off at the Brooklyn Shelter today. However, he will be heading to AACSR instead to prevent him from getting stressed and possibly sick in an overcrowded shelter.  We’re told Bossie appears and acts much younger then his age. He is playful and loves his toys! He is friendly and gets along well with everyone  including other dogs, though he is not neutered. Losing Hope ...

When you look into my eyes, can you see my sadness and that I’ve lost all hope in finding a forever mom? I'm Boo Boo and I need a mom. I asked nicely so many times and I prayed really hard for a mom so we can be best friends forever.

I give up. I guess I will continue to be lonely for the rest of my days. I do not do well with men, I can’t help it if I suffer from PTSD from my past experiences. I truly am so heartbroken … that there is no mommy for me! I remain very grateful to ASCSR and the nice volunteers for talking nicely to me, taking care of my basic needs, food, shelter and medical care.

But I want a forever home, the other AACSR dogs are getting them and I deserve one too. Come on ladies, will one of you take me home?
