If you're considering an EV for your next vehicle you are likely looking into what your charging options are.

It can be a little confusing at first but this chart breaks down the different charger levels, along with the advantages of each.

Most electric vehicles come with a level 1 charger that plugs into a standard 120 volt outlet. This will work to charge your vehicle, but unfortunately it is a slow process, that could take 3 (or more) days to fully charge your vehicle.

Many EV drivers opt to have a level 2 charger installed at home, so they can charge their vehicle over night during off-peak hours and get their vehicle charged up and ready for the day ahead.

USPS is replacing their aging fleet. The plan is to go all electric on new vehicle purchases by 2026.

Within a few years, the fleet will have expanded to 60,000, most of them electric models, serving as the Postal Service’s primary delivery truck from Maine to Hawaii.
