It was a “beat the storms” kinda day for this little Kohler 14kW replacement project.

The guys did a nice job wrapping up this installation for a new homeowner. The electrician installed the ATS and the builder poured the pad.

All we had to do was set the unit, run the wiring, make final gas line connections and install a few SAK 60 load control devices.

All in all, not a bad day’s work.

Yeah, we can do that for you. Notice the custom Cummins green uni-strut we used to provide a more factory finish.

The other one will be installed tomorrow and we will have this job completed for Cummins on Friday after start-up and testing.

This damaged wiring is a clear personnel safety issue and now the customer will be without power all day while the replace this wiring.

Permits…. there is a reason for them. Some companies should not be in business and you should always investigate their abilities with the pricing you receive.

Sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate, but the job still must get done.

Yesterday, in the pouring rain and then snow squall, the guys upgraded this old 65kW GGHB (that was dead) to a nice, new RS 60kW.

Once the ATS arrives, we will complete the project and fix up that yard a bit. But, for now, the have backup power once again.
