If youโ€™ve been to our office, you may have been blessed to meet Yutani, a goofy yellow pup destined for greatness. Yutani is a future service dog that was sponsored by Trucco Construction and raised by the Trucco family for Canine Companionsโ€ฆan organization that provides service dogs completely free of charge. He was named after a Yutani excavator, one of the very first in Truccoโ€™s fleet.

Please help us wish Yutani luck in his next chapter as he enters professional training tomorrow. Thereโ€™s no doubt he will change someoneโ€™s life!โค๏ธ

At Trucco, safety is more than a priority itโ€™s part of our culture. As we reflect on Safety Week last week, we want to recognize the incredible individuals who help keep our teams safe every single day.

Pictured left to right is Austin Carter, Chris Glass, and Sean Stringer. Over the years, Chris has played a major role in building and developing Truccoโ€™s safety program into what it is today. His hard work, determination, and dedication to creating a strong safety culture have helped lay the foundation for continued success across our operations.

This year, we were proud to expand our Safety Team with the addition of Austin and Sean. Their leadership and commitment have already made a strong impact both in the field and throughout the company, and they have been a great addition to the team.

As we kick off Safety Week, we are proud to introduce the first annual ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ค ๐Ž๐ ๐ฅ๐ž ๐’๐š๐Ÿ๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐- created to honor a man who helped shape the foundation of safety at Trucco Construction.

Mark Ogle joined Trucco in April of 2004 as the companyโ€™s first full-time Safety Director. From day one, his impact was undeniable. Our team quickly recognized his genuine care for every employee, and his belief that safety wasnโ€™t just a requirement, it was a culture. That mindset continues to influence how we work every single day.

His passion extended far beyond our company. From helping found the Safety Council of Greater Columbus to mentoring future industry professionals at The Ohio State University, Markโ€™s influence across the Central Ohio community was both immediate and lasting.

The idea for this award came from Mark Trucco, who reflected on how proud he is of our safety program and how far it has come. He believed it was important to recognize individuals who truly personify what Mark Ogle was passionate about, and with that, the Mark Ogle Safety Award was created.

The 2025 recipient was selected from a group of individuals nominated by their peers. A testament to the strong safety culture our team continues to build. Being nominated alone is a significant accomplishment and reflects a commitment to doing the job the right way.

This yearโ€™s recipient, Chip Davis, embodies the values that Mark Ogle and Trucco Construction were built on. His commitment to safety, leadership, and accountability represents exactly what this award stands for.
