This is Stitches. Live edge Walnut with Cherry laces. The meaning behind the table is, We all have problems but are held together with the help from others. Rough edges on the outside represent struggles and the straight lines on the inside stand for clarity. The laces are family and friends that make life a better place. My Students helped me build this table. It wasn’t easy. There was a lot of planning and decisions to be made. Problems arose but we talked through them and came up with answers. I would have to say it’s one of the most interesting pieces I’ve helped create.
