This place holds a very special meaning to me. The Veterans Memorial in Delphos. As this weekend approaches I encourage everyone to take a moment and reflect on our freedoms, to honestly stop what they are doing and think about what this weekend means. Honor those men and women who answered the call and left everything to defend this country and all that it stood for and to defend the freedoms of those they’ve never even met. Some never even getting to walk across that stage to receive their diploma and those that never met their unborn children as they left and paid the ultimate sacrifice for this nation. You will never be forgotten and this small gesture will never repay my debt for what you’ve done for my family and I, but I will continue to do my best to make this a tradition and make it beautiful for every Memorial Day Service I am able. God Bless all of those who laid down their lives in defense of our freedoms and for those who couldn’t defend themselves. I’ll will raise a special toast to you this weekend and will never forget what you have done.
