This week’s spotlight is Alex Schreiber! Alex was an auto mechanic but has always been interested in becoming an electrician. Alex started with Hometown in November of 2021. He has been learning quickly and has been a great sport always willing to jump to mechanic when needed. Alex is always willing to dive in head first and never afraid to get his hands dirty. Alex is dedicated to becoming an electrician and shows it everyday! Alex keeps everyone on their toes with his quick wit and genuine laugh! Alex keeps the jokes rolling and the power in service!
Alex enjoys spending time with his 3 kids and his dogs. Alex is an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. If he isn’t working he’s riding. Alex likes to enjoy the simple life, unless he’s out stuck in a snow bank! We are excited to help Alex on his path to becoming a journeyman electrician and look forward to having him here for many years!

This week’s spotlight is Rebecca Kitchell. Rebecca came to us as a medical secretary in August 2020. She has spent the last 2 years learning the ins and outs of the electrical world (which is no easy task) and continues to learn every day. Rebecca has great customer service and keeps our phones answered. Rebecca helps keep the scheduling and office running smoothly. Rebecca has a flair for life that she brings with her in all she does. Rebecca livens up the office walls with all of her art from her kids!
Rebecca enjoys spending time with her 3 children. Rebecca loves to fish, raft and diamond art. Rebecca loves to take her kids on road trips and being in the mountains exploring all the adventures that Delta and Montrose counties have to offer. We have enjoyed Rebecca being a part of the team and look forward to her being here for many years to come!

This week’s spotlight is Chris Kadlec! Chris has been with Hometown since August of 2021. Chris was a chef before he started his journey as an electrician. He has shared with us many dishes we have all enjoyed! He has brought a sense of comradery and leadership. Chris has been an electrician for nine years. He loves his customers and the thrill of troubleshooting. Chris has a great disposition and loves to make everyone laugh which makes working with him easy. Chris likes to enjoy music while working so you’ll see him in headphones often. He keeps the music and the job rolling with ease and efficiency!
Chris loves hanging out with his wife Brook and his daughter Brenna. He loves his dogs Whiskey, Willow and Dixie. Chris also loves hunting and fishing. You can see Chris in his backyard with his riding mower often. He’s even brought it to work once! (More of his humor!) Chris has proven to be a great addition to Hometown and we look forward to many years of learning and growing with him!

This week’s spotlight is David Foxx! We’ve been incredibly busy so this is a little late.
David has been with Hometown since may of 2016. He has been an integral part of the team. He started with very limited knowledge about being an electrician to now teaching our new apprentices. Customers always appreciate his knowledge and great customer service! David is always willing to help wherever he can to help keep Hometown running smoothly and efficiently! Everyone loves working with David because of his knowledge and silly playful manner!
David enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and shooting. David spends a lot of his time hanging out with his dad and friends throughout the community. David was born and raised in Delta County. He’s quite the catch just in case you single ladies were wondering and Hometown is happy to have caught him!

This weeks crew member is Shylow James. Shylow has been with Hometown since August of 2020. She came on as a temporary employee but has since become an apprentice and an estimator while maintaining her role in Human Resources. Shylow loves being a team player and is always willing to take on whatever job is required to keep Hometown running smoothly!
Shylow enjoys being with her family, reading, riding the motorcycle with her husband, paddle boarding with her kids, riding her bicycle and just enjoying life! Shylow loves to learn and is extremely excited to start her journey as an electrician!

We’d like for you to meet the crew!! Each week we will spotlight one of Hometown’s amazing employees and give you a little insight of who each of us is! This week is Bill James. Bill has been an electrician since as long as he can remember, working along side with his father since he was a teenager. Bill received his master’s license in December of 1996. Bill took over the company in 2002 when his father retired. Bill enjoys helping everyone grow and sharing his knowledge. Bill has always been passionate about being an electrician but found his true passion working in electrical for the fuel industry. As the industry is changing Bill is always looking for new and exciting ways to keep his electrical knowledge up to date and advancing!
Bill loves his family. He has 1 son and 4 step children to keep him super busy! He loves all of his fur children just as much! Bill enjoys riding his motorcycle, bicycle riding with his wife and kids, paddle boarding, and just enjoying the outdoors as much as he can.
We are all so grateful to have a mentor like Bill! He’s an amazing boss and easy to work for and with.
