As a contractor, I can tell you that many of us choose not to work with some home warranty companies. The reimbursement rates are often too low to cover the actual cost of quality repairs, making it difficult to provide the level of service our customers deserve.

If you're paying for a home warranty, ask yourself if it's really worth it. Instead, consider putting that monthly premium into a dedicated home repair savings account. When something breaks, you'll have the funds available and the freedom to hire the contractor you trust.

Home warranties work for some homeowners, but before you renew or buy one, read the fine print and understand what's actually covered—and what isn't. I wouldnt use any of these listed below. You wont get service and if you do it wont be good
