Benefits: 2 weeks PTO(increasing with years of service), Sick time is accrued per week, up to 52 hrs/year and available as soon as it accrues, 401K with a matching scale. All vehicles are 2016 or newer. On call in peak months is split between 2 techs. Merit has tool replacement programs, 50% boots and pants programs, uniform shirts provided.
Overview: Responsible for the service, maintenance, repair and change outs of HVAC systems utilizing knowledge of refrigerant cycle, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, brazing, and mechanical layouts.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction. Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
Uses a variety of hand tools, power tools, wiring diagrams, to diagnose and repair units. Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
