💭 A question we hear quite often:

"If the coil is under warranty, why does it still cost money to replace it?"🤔

While the manufacturer may cover the replacement coil itself, there are still materials, supplies, labor, testing, and installation procedures required to complete the job properly. Things like filter driers, fittings, sealants, nitrogen, and other materials typically aren't covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

Every warranty claim is a little different, but it's important to understand that a warranty often covers the part—not necessarily everything required to replace it safely and correctly.

👀 After multiple inspections, Felix took a closer look.

Once the panels came off, he found heavily restricted condenser coils on this high-efficiency system—reducing the airflow moving through the unit.

As Felix explains in the video, one side of the coil looked fairly normal, while another told a completely different story.

Sometimes the details that impact performance are found when you take the time to look a little deeper.

Auto vs. On: One setting could be costing you comfort! 👀

Your thermostat fan has two modes, but they don't work the same way.

✅ AUTO = The fan only runs when your system is actively heating or cooling.

⚠️ ON = The fan runs continuously, even when your system isn't conditioning the air.

Leaving the fan set to ON may make your home feel more humid because air continues moving through the system after a cooling cycle ends.

For most homeowners, Auto is the preferred setting for comfort, efficiency, and humidity control.
