Just wrapped up a nice basement facelift job in Golden. Some drywall repair, new flooring, new baseboard trim, refinish stairs and fresh paint. Thank you for the work, Powderkegs!

Trusses rolled braced and straightened. A little sub fascia tomorrow and we’re ready for sheathing.

Shimming the foundation is an important first step in the framing process. This foundation is nice and square, However, the top of the foundation had some high and low spots, with as much as a 1/2” of shims at the lowest point (not bad-not good enough either) Gary Don Anderson and I got it shimmed out proper in a few hours and we’re ready to build walls.
