Black Bear Construction Services, an Equal Opportunity Employer, has immediate openings for Working Project Superintendent to be part of our growing family! The Black Bear is expanding, and we are looking for individuals that have the desire to learn and grow with us. This position coordinates all day-to-day site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities.
Black Bear is a family/veteran owned and operated demolition company with over 27 years of experience. We offer demolition services from small interior to large full-scale wrecking, abatement and concrete sawcutting and coring.

Essential Duties
• Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
• Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship.
• Builds & maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
• Reads & understands the project plans,& specifications.
• Acts as technical professional for the estimating team.
• Leads the project team in planning and ex*****on of project work plans and other project submittals and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Maintains positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other employees.
• Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
• Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
• Maintains an organized and clean job site.
• Minimized company exposure and project performance risks.
• Prepares field reports for payment, and other project reporting documents as needed.
• Collaborates with others to generate project schedules as required.
• Competent with demolition tools and equipment.
• Pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Training crew as necessary.
Requirements:
• Previous supervisory experience REQUIRED
• 5 or more years of demolition management experience
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check
• OSHA 30hr Construction Card
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver’s license
• Dependable, reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Working indoors & outdoors with the possibility of adverse weather conditions
• Flexible availability to work days/nights/weekends
