Although we don't wish damage on anyone, in the construction and estimating world this is great damage to have when you have an insurance claim. It is a true no brainer damage-wise and is covered.

Lately I have been following a lot of estimators, mitigation companies, PA.s, and GC's just kind of getting a feel for how people are feeling in the industry (even though I was an adjuster for 17 years and know it well). But I've just sort of been quietly reading and listening.
The more I read the more I remember and become passionate about the core value of why I started my company, Estimates to the Rescue. The real reason I began the company was to 'try' one client at a time to help take away the combative nature that the industry has become and get back to the basics.

**Providing Xactimate estimates to my client that are written with detail that is for work that needed to be performed and was performed for the loss that occurred**

-we don't miss a thing but also don't want to add the fluff that makes our client look like they are crooked.

**The goal is to have each client I work with have a strong business name in the industry not only with the homeowners but also with insurance companies**.

-Integrity is important

I was an adjuster for 17 years before becoming an estimator and I truly believe this is possible. We can all help each other on both sides. Even if I can only chip away for this goal with one client at a time I will keep trying!!!!!

Life is too short for having our dukes up before it is even needed! (although, yes, sometimes they might need to be up a little here and there)

ADVICE NEEDED IF ANYONE HAS IT!!!

I have not done any real Facebook advertising since opening my business and all of my growth has been from word of mouth. Does anyone out there have any input on their Facebook Ads luck and referrals for a company that might be extra well versed with construction and mitigation? I'm hoping for additional growth this year and am contemplating Facebook Ads as an option.
