🌸 Pruning too early can do more harm than good.

🌳 If you get too snip-happy, you may risk next year's bloom, drain your tree's energy reserves, and/or open the door to pests and disease—no thanks!

So when should you prune?
🌿 Late winter is prime time—trees are still dormant and it’s safer all around.
🌞 Midsummer is okay for a light clean-up—just don’t mess with the fruit spurs.
