About Tristan: Tristan grew up near the Wind River Mountains in Wyoming, and then moved to New Hampshire to attend Dartmouth College. While in college, he developed a love of all things climbing (rock, ice, and trees!). After college, he
was a high school history teacher for a time, but his love of climbing and the outdoors drove him to pursue life as a climber. He has worked as a professional arborist and tree climber for the last decade, as well as a professional mountain guide. He and his wife, son, and dog recently relocated to Denver after nearly 10 years in Portland, Maine.
