Hi Stately Homes Followers :) My name is Chelsea and I am sharing a hardship we are facing with my nephew. I am doing a fundraiser for him to fight cancer.

When Logan was 5 (7 years ago) and perfectly healthy up until that point, he fell over, had a seizure and did not wake up. He was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumor and was given 3 days to live. Logan, against all odds, fought and won a battle that people didn't believe he would survive. It was not an easy journey. This child and his family had to fight through several strokes, crazy side effects from his radiation, necrosis, multiple brain surgeries and plenty of other very difficult and trying procedures.
Back in September this year, Logan was sent back to the hospital, with what my sister thought was another stroke, and instead the doctors found another mass inside his brain stem. I have spent the past few weeks with them and we have finally got an MRI done after his first one back in September. The news we received was not the greatest. His mass has doubled in size. There are a few different diagnoses we received, the first two being very aggressive tumors inside of his brain stem, making it inoperable and not giving him much of a chance of survival (although he did survive last time with a 0% survival rate from the first doctor), the 3rd option is that this is a brain infection not cancer and it is treatable, the 4th option is that it is a benign tumor, and the last option is that it is necrosis, due to his radiation treatment.
The next step for Logan is to get a biopsy, now that his tumor has grown the doctors think they can reach it. Logan has an appt. at Stanford University, on the 19th of December, with a doctor who is number one in the world with the tumor and the radiation treatment that Logan received. Logan's council of doctors, working together, is his greatest chance at getting the right diagnosis and treatment.
In order for my family to get Logan to his appointment at Stanford, they are going to need help financially. Logan also has 6 brothers and sisters who won't have much of a Christmas at this point as well. We are so grateful for the help & prayers ❤️
