Earlier this week, Kaffe Landskap at The Coloradan was honored with the BEST (Brilliantly Executed Spaces and Thinking) award in the Eat + Drink category from the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the IIDA. The judges called this project “elegant, pure, and timeless” and said that “they loved how the design concept was executed, incorporating the Swedish aesthetic while also retaining an approachable feel.”

Roth Sheppard Architects recently participated in the Colorado Restaurant Winter Outdoor Dining Charrette/Design Workshop. Our team’s concept, PARK[AS], are designed for mountain resort communities. Through modular construction utilizing readily available components, PARK[AS] are a highly-adaptable, efficient, well-insulated, prefabricated outdoor dining/entertaining module, which are aesthetically pleasing, safe, and cost effective.

The State of Colorado, Colorado Restaurant Association, Colorado Restaurant Foundation, American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado, the American Institute of Architects Colorado and the Associated General Contractors of Colorado collaborated with local industry professionals to create nine unique concepts for winterized outdoor dining.
