Steven White, FAIA, LEED AP BD+C and Laura Grafel, AIA, LEED AP BD+C of Fentress Architects hosted the tour of the Royal Norwegian Embassy Renovation on Saturday June 8th. This exceptional space is imbued with the Norwegian values of Handlekraft (vigor), Arbeidsglede (joy of work), Profesjonalitet (professionalism), and Åpenhet (openness). We were delighted to host last night’s reception for the NC State College of Design | School of Architecture, as our way to kick-off the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design 2024. It was especially meaningful as two of our principals are alumni of NC State’s prestigious program: Curtis Fentress, FAIA, RIBA, Principal in Charge of Design (Class of 1972) and Steven White FAIA, LEED AP BD+C, Principal, Director of Washington DC Studio (Class of 1995). We had a wonderful time gathering with so many of our peers to discuss the future of our profession and share some good stories of the past.
