One of the things we love most about creating ADUs is the flexibility they add to a property. After building more than 70 ADUs across Denver—many of them dating back to the early days of the city's ADU program—we can tailor an ADU design to a homeowner’s lifestyle, goals, and distinct vision. These three layouts show just how much range is possible:

1. An office and family room paired with a full rental unit on the other side.
2. A rental upstairs, with an office, workshop, and garage below.
3. A studio rental upstairs, garage and trailer storage downstairs.

We always encourage homeowners to think beyond how they'll use the space today. Kids grow up. Parents age. Careers change. A well-designed ADU should be able to grow and shift right alongside your life, adding both livability and long-term value to your property.
