A little privacy can make all the difference in a backyard.

We installed a 4-foot cedar horizontal fence using sturdy 1x6 and 1x4 pickets, set on posts spaced 8 feet apart. For extra support, a central 2x4 helps keep the boards from warping over time. The project also included a 48-inch wide single swing gate with a secure latch, plus a custom black plated steel post approved by the homeowner.

Old fences don’t just look tired—they can also limit how you use your yard.

We cleared out a worn fence in Broomfield and replaced it with new 4’ and 6’ cedar privacy fencing. Postmaster posts set in concrete, sturdy two and three rail construction, and fresh 1x4 pickets brought privacy and a warm look back to this yard. We added easy-access single swing gates with solid hardware, taking care to fit everything cleanly—even when a post had to be cut for a better finish.

Homeowners want their backyard to feel private and secure. For this Denver project, we installed a 6' cedar privacy fence along the back of the property, making sure the pickets face out toward the alley for a clean look from every side.

We set 4x4 posts deep in concrete and used three sturdy rails for lasting strength. The build included a single swing gate with a strong latch, plus we removed old retaining wall boards to make room for the new fence line.
