Creativity, vision and innovation are integrated into every aspect of this home. Michelle Wilsonβs (principal at MMW A.I.A.} initial impression was that the home, built in the 90s, lacked continuity and connectivity, but had great potential. The resulting renovation proved to be a challenge. By altering the vernacular, the character and charm were reclaimed.
Every aspect of the original home required extensive alterations, utilization of wasted space, and reprogramming as if the home started as a ground up build. The transformation was profound, such that it was recognized and awarded Home of the Year in the 2024, July/ August edition of βColorado Homes & Lifestylesβ magazine.
The project took several years to complete. The structure was gutted to the studs and with a strong strategy and creative plan the home was transferred into a βsweeping, bright-white Santa Barbara-like abode with a timeless romantic feel and pristine outdoor living space."
