Our team recently joined AGC Colorado for another General Contractor Showcase Series event, connecting with industry peers, meeting new partners, and continuing conversations with people we value across the industry.

“We build both relationships and buildings to last.”

That principle is at the center of our work across the Rocky Mountain region—and the focus of a new Bisnow feature exploring how trusted partnerships help complex projects move forward.

Our work with Triumph Development on Timber Ridge in Vail is one example. The 302-home, deed-restricted workforce housing community is taking shape through long-term collaboration, shared problem-solving, and a commitment to serving local workers.

It’s also the perspective Aubry Teeters will bring to the Bisnow Colorado Mountain Development Summit this Wednesday, August 26, where she’ll share insights on the partnerships that help move mountain projects from vision to reality.

There’s nothing quite like seeing a project move from plans on paper to a finished building.

The Midland Residences at Basalt Center Circle is a great example of what can happen when a strong vision is supported by a talented project team and true collaboration. Watching the progress from February 2025 through August 2026 is a reminder of just how much planning, coordination, and craftsmanship goes into bringing a project of this scale to life.

Shaw Construction is proud to receive an Award of Merit from ENR Mountain States & Southwest for the Confluence Center in Grand Junction, Colorado, in the Small Project category.

This recognition celebrates the quality, collaboration, and craftsmanship that went into bringing this 10,700-square-foot project to life. From office space and a preschool to classrooms, meeting spaces, and an interactive lobby, the Confluence Center was designed to engage the community in land and water science, conservation, and stewardship.

If you guessed Timber Ridge Village, you were right!

Shaw Construction is helping bring Timber Ridge Village to life in Vail, Colorado. The 302-home residential community will expand access to much-needed workforce housing, with studio through four-bedroom homes designed for the people who help keep Vail running.
