There is an order to shutting a Denver house down for winter, and doing it out of order is how people end up with a wet crawlspace.
Short version:
1. Hose bibs first - and the interior valve that feeds them, not just the outside handle.
2. Sprinkler blowout before the ground locks.
3. Swamp cooler: shut the water line, bleed it, drain the pan, cover it.
4. Find the main shutoff. Turn it. Make sure it actually works while it is still 60 degrees out.
If you would rather someone just do it, we have openings this week.
Nobody's perfect, but we do our best on every job.
