I know what it’s like to wake up before the sun, feel the weight of the day ahead, and get to work while the rest of the world is still dreaming.

I’m Kenneth Pyland, the “Plumber of the Plains”and the guy you get on the phone when you call Plumber of the Plains.

My journey didn't start yesterday. I’ve been in the trade since 2012. Along the way, I spent a good chunk of my career doing residential service & repair, keeping your homes running like clockwork. That time taught me the "why" behind the "how," but I realized something was missing.
I traded the big corporate plumbing company for the local service and repair world because I wanted to focus on the community I call home. I’m a one-man shop by choice. When you hire me, you aren't getting a random tech; you’re getting over a decade of dirt, grit, and honest-to-god experience.

Plumbing history isn't found in a textbook; it’s written in the sweat and the dirt of the men who came before me. For over a hundred years, plumbers have been the ones crawling into the dark, tight spots and getting their hands dirty so our neighbors can stay clean.

This trade is a craft passed down from mentor to apprentice. It’s built on thousands of hours a year, calloused hands, and the kind of grit you can’t teach in a classroom.

Every time I pick up a wrench at Plumber of the Plains, I’m carrying that history forward. I don’t mind the grime because I know the work matters. I’m proud to be part of the long line of tradesmen who keep this country running.

The calendar changed, but plumbing issues will always pop up at the most unexpected times.
Luckly we are catching a break with this moderate weather this week, which makes it the perfect time to take care of those leaks or slow drains before the real Kansas winter decides to show back up.

I hear the stories every day!
Something solid ends up down the toilet. But tonight, it happened right here in my own house. My little boy decided his small doll and a few plastic figures needed a permanent vacation. Straight down the pipe.
Look, you try to teach them right, but kids will be kids.
Luckly I keep my tools at the ready!
I got 'em out, but trust me, pulling a small doll out of your own toilet drain is a reminder that no job is beneath a good plumber
