Many homeowners don't realize that one of the biggest threats to their foundation, basement, landscaping, and even driveway is poor roof drainage.

Buried gutter extensions with pop-up emitters are a great way to move water away from your home instead of allowing it to dump right next to the foundation.

Benefits include:

One thing I run into all the time with irrigation systems is buried valve boxes.
Over the years, grass grows over them, mulch gets piled on top, dirt washes in, and eventually nobody knows where they are. Then a valve sticks open, a wire comes loose, or a repair is needed and what should have been a 10-minute fix turns into an hour of digging.
Valve boxes should be visible and close to grade. It makes troubleshooting easier, repairs faster, and can save you money in the long run.
If you know where all your valve boxes are, you're ahead of a lot of homeowners. If not, it might be worth taking a few minutes to uncover them before you need them.
