Cheers to 2023. If you supported my business in any way this year, THANK YOU! If you liked a post, shared my contact info or asked me to design you a space, THANK YOU. Not every business model is the same… 🎨⚒️
Another year of:
•No Employees
•No Excavators
•No Dump Trucks
•No Excuses!
I’ve been working ‘in’ my business for 3 years now. However by default, my consistency, craftsmanship, leadership, relationships and passion were all working ‘on’ my business in the background!
There’s plenty of landscape company owners who don’t touch their saws, or residential designers that don’t even visit their projects. They have great crews and systems they trust and they continue to focus on expansion, revenue and scaling to meet their goals.
Thats not me at this point. Someday I hope to hire a crew of people that I trust to do the same. They do it for a completely different reason, if I’m honest. I relate more to the artist, the freelancer, the performer who literally just enjoys feeling alive when I craft my spaces. I enjoy releasing my creativity when I’m on a job site I designed. (my client designed the one above)
It’s sounds crazy, I know.
I’ve been a ‘one man band’ hardscape artist for 3 years now… if I explained every opportunity that has come in by running with that business model, it may blow your mind.
I say this humbly, to inspire you to believe that you don't have to fit the typical business owner model. I hope to "do" more in 2024.
