🔥 ONE OF THE CRAZIEST ROOFS WE'VE EVER COMPLETED TO DATE 🔥

What appeared to be a standard roof replacement quickly turned into one of the most extensive roofing projects our team has tackled.

Once the roof was opened up, we discovered:

✅ 4 layers of existing asphalt shingles
✅ Original cedar shake roofing beneath the shingles
✅ Space decking with gaps ranging from 3–4 inches
✅ A complete roof re-deck requirement
✅ More than 12 TONS of roofing material removed and disposed of

This roof had been roofed over multiple times throughout its life, creating substantial weight and leaving the home with an outdated roof deck that no longer met modern installation requirements.

Our crew got to work immediately.

Starting at 7:00 AM on day one, we removed five total roofing layers, completed the necessary decking work, and had the entire roof dried in before the end of the day. By 10:30 AM the following morning, the new roofing system was fully installed and complete.

The homeowner now has:

One of the most rewarding parts of this project was helping the homeowner navigate the process. Throughout the project, our team documented every stage of the tear-off and construction process, including the multiple roofing layers, cedar shake material, space decking, and other conditions discovered once the roof was opened.

We provided detailed photos, documentation, and project information so all parties involved had a clear understanding of the conditions present and the work required to complete the project properly and in accordance with current building standards.

As a result, the homeowner was able to avoid tens of thousands of dollars in unexpected out-of-pocket costs and only had to satisfy their deductible while receiving a complete roofing system built to today's standards.

This project required tremendous teamwork from all parties involved.

A huge shoutout to our Project Manager Dustin Borah, who did an outstanding job communicating with the homeowner and helping coordinate every phase of this project. From start to finish, our entire crew worked together like an ecosystem to make what seemed impossible become reality.

Less than two days. Over 12 tons removed. Five layers torn off. Complete re-deck. One extremely happy homeowner.

Another one in the books for Triple B Roofing & Exteriors!

This one was a full transformation from start to finish. We got on site at 7 AM and had this entire roof torn off, replaced, cleaned up, and dialed in before 6 PM. That is a full day of hustle, precision, and pride in our work.

We installed Malarkey Vista shingles in Brilliant Black and man… this roof turned out sharp. Not only does it look incredible, but these shingles are built to last. Class 4 impact resistant, designed to handle Iowa weather, and backed by one of the strongest reputations in the industry.

We also ran our Catch-All system on this project to protect the home, landscaping, and everything around it. No torn up yards, no mess left behind. Just a clean, professional job from start to finish.
