✨️ Service Spotlight: Data Center in New Albany, Ohio

A data center in New Albany, Ohio needed urgent support as additional structures were brought online during a critical testing period. The client needed immediate assistance to keep the facility’s HVAC systems and building monitoring operational until new systems could be fully integrated.

Technicians from across the Waldinger Service footprint joined the critical response team and drove overnight, some up to 16 hours, to arrive on site and meet the client’s urgent needs.

While these technicians were supporting the project in Ohio, team members at their home branches stepped up behind the scenes. They adjusted schedules, covered on-call responsibilities, and supported client needs to ensure service levels remained uninterrupted.

Through teamwork, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to client success, our team once again proved that Waldinger delivers when it matters most.

Our Des Moines office recently hosted its 3rd Annual Scout Trail New Hire Event! Recent new hires gathered for an afternoon of connections, competitions, and a whole lot of fun.

We kicked things off with some food and drinks, and then the real competition began! Teams headed out to explore Historic Valley Junction for a scavenger hunt.

Caring about our people is at the heart of what we do. We love hosting events like this to help our teams build meaningful relationships, support one another, and just have a great time together!

Our Omaha team recently helped bring a major community project to life with the completion of the new Omaha Central Public Library. Officially opened to the public on April 19, the facility serves as a modern hub for learning, collaboration, and technology-driven resources for the Omaha community.

Waldinger performed the full mechanical scope of the project, including piping, sheet metal, and plumbing.

The Waldinger Service team came together in Branson, Missouri for our 2026 Spring Sales Meeting, and what an incredible few days it was!

This three-day gathering focused on alignment, learning, recognition, and preparing to deliver even more value to our clients in the year ahead. Teams collaborated across operations and business development while reinforcing the WE2030 Sales Vision.

We also took time to celebrate our people with a special awards dinner recognizing service milestones, leadership development achievements, and outstanding performance. A huge congratulations to Scott Hill for an exceptional year, including the largest planned maintenance agreement in Waldinger history.

And of course, it was not all meetings. The team enjoyed guided pontoon tours and scenic hikes around Branson!

When a winter storm approached, a Wichita-area client faced a critical challenge. A failed heat exchanger with freezing temperatures on the way required immediate action.

The Wichita Service team responded quickly. Led by Project Manager Justin Thelen and supported by Technicians Dalton Reed, AJ Linder, and Noah Degrandmont, the team mobilized temporary heating equipment and coordinated installation on a 50-foot rooftop to keep the facility operational through severe weather.

At the same time, the team worked with the client to develop a long-term solution. After a year of proactive maintenance and equipment assessments, the client has now moved forward with replacing the remaining 16 rooftop units.

This project highlights the value of preventive maintenance, strong client relationships, and a team that is ready to respond when it matters most.
