This building looked a little different when we first arrived… it’s safe to say that these before and after photos are a true testament to what a little repaint can do!

While this project isn't fresh off the schedule, it's one we enjoy looking back on.

The transformation was immediate, but what's just as important is how the finish continues to perform. Quality preparation, quality materials, and skilled craftsmanship help ensure a project looks great long after the work is complete.

It's always rewarding to revisit past projects and see the impact of the quality work our team puts in every day.

Just about wrapping up Phase 3 of the CREG - Seneca Vacuum project for Baker Group, another shop coating project nearing the finish line.

Every piece of steel you see here came through our shop for surface preparation and coating before heading out to the field. From structural steel and handrails to chilled water piping and miscellaneous hanger steel, everything was abrasive/sand blasted, coated, and finished by our team to the extremely detailed specifications required by Chevron REG.

This project called for an industrial epoxy system with a urethane topcoat with a tight dry film thickness range. The structural steel was finished in SW 7074 Software Gray, with safety yellow handrails providing high visibility throughout the platform areas.

Kudos to Chris Frazier and Beau Davidson, who have been putting in the hours to keep this project moving and maintain the high-quality standards our clients expect.

Industrial painting isn't always the flashiest work, but when every coating, mil thickness, and specification matters, experience makes all the difference.

See some guys up in the air in front of the Des Moines Civic Center at the corner of Walnut & 3rd? That’s us 👀

The JC Toland crew is currently prepping and painting the underside surfaces and structural steel (ask us about Tnemec Company, Inc.'s Series 118 Uni-Bond Mastic and Series 73 Endura-Shield) throughout the skywalk system. From the Neal Smith Federal Building to the 3rd and Court Parking Ramp, we’re proud to keep one of the city’s busiest walkways looking sharp.

Getting a little up close and personal with the metal stud framing work at Simpson College’s revamped Dining Hall. 🔨

This phase of our scope is officially wrapped, and our crew is moving on to drywall, then paint, then ACT (and keep an eye out on a future post for some specialty finishes). The existing A-frame design on this building has made this project especially fun to watch come together, and we’re excited to work with Story Construction to see it all come together at the finish line.

Business on the Green hosted by the Greater Omaha Chamber was a HUGE success! 🏌️⛳

We had the chance to meet a ton of awesome people, make new connections, and have some genuinely great conversations throughout the day. Events like this are always a good reminder of how strong and supportive the Omaha business community really is.

Our team wrapped up additional painting and finish work out at Prairie Ridge Church, helping bring several updated spaces together with clean, cohesive, finishes throughout the project. The scope included painting exposed mechanical, electrical and plumbing ahead of K-13 installation to control acoustics, painting added and existing walls, doors and frames and added stained wood elements across the facility.

We also completed prep and lime wash work on the Chapel west wall using INNOTOP Interior Mineral Paint, European Lime Wash, and a clear matte flat finish to achieve the final look the space called for.

Projects like this are always rewarding for our team because it’s the detailed finish work and coordination across multiple scopes that really tie everything together.

Out of the office and into the ballpark! 😎⚾️

We had a blast getting some of the office crew together for an Iowa Cubs game this week. Always good to trade emails and estimates for hot dogs and baseball every once in a while. And... we caught some t-shirts!
