Buildings have stories worth preserving.

We're excited to continue our partnership with JSA Development as this historic high-rise begins its next chapter, transforming into a 120-key Hyatt Place Hotel through adaptive reuse.

Inspired by the building's origins as a 1920s department store, our design concept creates a hotel experience that unfolds through layered, intuitive, and social spaces. Guests will be invited to discover places to gather, work, relax, and connect, all while experiencing the character that makes this historic landmark so special.

As Interior Design Advisor and Creative Director, our team will continue guiding the design through detailed development, helping preserve the original vision while balancing historic preservation requirements with Hyatt's hospitality standards.

We're honored to be part of a project that celebrates the past while creating meaningful experiences for future guests. We look forward to sharing more as this exciting transformation continues.

New Faces, New Rhythm. Our tiny team is getting a little less tiny.

We’ve added a few new faces, which means new ideas, new personalities, new perspectives, and a slightly different rhythm around the studio.

Nothing too calculated. Just good people joining the mix as we go.

Still small. Still figuring it out. Just a little more fun around here.

Some people see cardboard. We see one less change order. 😉
Before a single wall goes up, we built full-scale exam rooms, trauma bays, and nurse stations to test sightlines, clearances, and workflows.
This mock-up with Lakes Regional Healthcare gave the team the opportunity to walk the space, ask questions, make changes, and experience the design before construction started — because the little details make a big difference.
Now the project is officially out to bid and we're one step closer to bringing it to life. Stay tuned...
