⛔WEST LAKE DRIVE UPDATE ⛔

Progress continues on the West Lake Drive and City Beach project. Phase 3 (Legion Rd. to Rossman Ave.) of the project will be completed and opened to traffic by this afternoon (9/4). Credit to the construction crews and their hard work, this phase will be completed and opened about three weeks ahead of schedule, and just in time for the Labor Day weekend! Immediately open upon opening Phase 2, crews will close the Phase 3 area (Minnesota Ave. to Rossman Avenue, not including those intersections). Work in this area will begin on September 8th, following the holiday weekend. While this area will be closed to through traffic, starting later today, it will be opened for parking through the weekend. We ask that traffic please follow the new posted detour route.

West Lake Drive phase 2 from Legion Road to Rossman Ave is closing in on the final stretch. The street is prepped for paving tomorrow, topsoil and mainline irrigation is in and ready for landscaping, trees and sod installation this week. A lot of finish work to come this week before we move on to phase 3 after Labor Day!

Another great aerial view from Loans & Drones of the progress on West Lake Drive!! Continuing work on phase 2 with electrical, irrigation and some site amenities, plantings and asphalt paving coming in the next few weeks then a short pause for Labor Day weekend and on to Phase 3, the last phase of the project!! Great work by our crews and our subcontractors to keep this project ahead of schedule!! Thank you all for your hard work!!!

Phase 2 is moving along well!! Looking forward to getting this phase buttoned up and on to phase 3.
