Over the last few years, if you’ve asked me what I do for work, I’ve probably been pretty vague. Now that our secrets out, here’s what we’ve been working on. A few years ago, I was lucky enough to join a once in a life time project. We’ve spent the last 2 years designing something that we think the world needs. I can’t believe how far we’ve come in such a short time, and this is only just the beginning. Truly an honor to be part of such a great team.

And many more who I forgot to tag.

What a weekend. Huge thank you to for letting me participate in his show with this massive piece of furniture. Was amazing to see all of the skill and creativity in one place. There was some serious doubt as to wether I would be able to finish in time, mostly due to the temperature in my shop being nowhere near the required 65 degrees that the Formica/glue needs to work. Luckily the entry way to my house had plenty of room for the task with inches to spare. Thank you to Kyle and Lea .beerbar for being the best clients/collaborators anyone could ask for, and for allowing their brand new standing bar to be broken in before landing in its new home. Thanks to U-Haul for supplying the truck (even when the one I reserved was stolen before I could get it) and thank you to for being a fantastic glue-up assistant/mover/photographer there ever was.

It’s called Furniture and Fatal Attractions and Chad has been kind enough to let me display this piece among many talented designers/furniture makers in the area. Leave a comment if you’re showing something there, it should be a hell of a time.

If you’re around Detroit, or even within a midwestern road trip (under 2000 miles) swing on by. I hear there will be food and drink, and a lot of cool furniture and cool people.

Very few places I would in the category of “criminally underrated” Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada is 100% in that club. North of Glacier NP (USA) but also kind of the same park(?). Honestly didn’t even clock it as a part of our trip until we arrived, we were expecting just a quick stop on our way to Banff etc, so maybe it was just low expectation. We were planning to just get dinner and then hit the hay, but a delightfully friendly Canadian liquor store cashier suggested we take a quick drive, so we did. Even tho the campsite was in the middle of town, as long as you crop the photo right, it looks like you’re right there in it.

Roughly 2,200 miles in the last few weeks, much of it less exciting than these photos. When we decided to buy our Scout, we wanted to make sure we’d use it. We have. So far we’re almost at 50 nights in just over a year of owning it. It’s an amazing sense of freedom to be able to just pick up and go, change plans on the fly and most importantly, no need to set up a tent and sleep on the ground. Also, yes, we got a new truck, very similar to the old truck, but this one had tow mirrors. IMO, this set up beats a Sprinter Van because I also get to have a truck.

I’ve passed Teddy Roosevelt National Park like 20 times driving between MT and MI over the years, finally made the stop to check it out. Named for our coolest president, it undoubtedly had some of our coolest dirt. Solid park.

Insanely honored to have been trusted with this project.
beerbar is a very special place. Kyle came to me with a killer idea, we sketched it out on a scrap of cardboard and thus, the roundie was born. That turned into 5 tables, a bar, a mini roundie, a menu board and a few other odds and ends that are incoming.

It’s gratifying to see something you’ve created be used as if it’s always been there. created an incredible space at , and I am humbled to be able to fill some of it up. These tables were. Labor of love, and I know I’m biased, but I think they came out great.

I’m gonna keep spamming this project, so buckle up. Got a build video coming…eventually. Stay tuned and drink up.
