**National Demolition Association Michigan Chapter Hosts Insightful Tour at Detroit Edge Tool Company**

The National Demolition Association (NDA) Michigan Chapter, in partnership with Detroit Edge Tool Company (DETCO), hosted an engaging and educational event today at DETCO’s state-of-the-art facility. This event brought together demolition professionals from across the region for an in-depth look at one of Detroit's premier manufacturing firms, underscoring the power of collaboration between industries.

The event kicked off with a warm welcome from DETCO, who generously provided lunch for the attendees. Pat Ebbing, delivered an insightful presentation that highlighted the company’s long-standing contributions to the demolition industry. Attendees learned about DETCO's history, its role in shaping Detroit’s industrial landscape, and its forward-looking approach to innovation and precision tool manufacturing.

Following the presentation, the attendees were treated to an exclusive tour of DETCO's facility, led by Pat Ebbing, Johnny Ebbing, Justin Vernick and Al Winters. The tour offered a rare glimpse into the inner workings of DETCO, showcasing their cutting-edge equipment and manufacturing processes that produce precision tools for industries worldwide. Attendees were able to observe firsthand the craftsmanship and technology that have made DETCO a leader in the field.

The NDA Michigan Chapter extends its deepest thanks to Detroit Edge Tool Company for their generosity and insight, and to all the attendees who made the event a success. Events like these continue to foster learning, collaboration, and growth—values at the core of the NDA's mission.

It’s overwhelmingly emotional to see Dan Gilbert and Bedrock making a concentrated effort to preserve Detroit’s history while paving the way to the city’s future. Prior to demolition, the facade of the National Theater building from 1911 was painstakingly salvaged and is planned to be reused for a new venue. Detroit Dismantling Corporation is honored to be a part of this project and we are looking forward to sharing in the new history that is soon to be created!
