Rittmer Inc. is looking for a motivated Construction Management Summer Intern to join our team this summer.
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in heavy civil construction and land development, working alongside our project managers and field crews.
What you’ll do: • Assist with project management and estimating
• Support procurement and material tracking
• Learn field operations, surveying, and jobsite coordination
• Gain exposure to operating heavy equipment
• See projects from planning through completion
Position details: • Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Compensation based on experience
• Work truck provided
• Summer position with strong mentorship and responsibility
This internship is ideal for students pursuing construction management, civil engineering, or related fields who want practical experience—not just busy work.

Signing Day 2025! Rittmer Inc has partnered with Calamus-Wheatland Schools to break ground for a heavy equipment operator apprenticeship program. Congratulations to Drew and Logan! Thank you to the Quad City Chamber of Commerce for supporting this event that enabled almost 80 local students to sign with their future employers. Nursing, welding, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, auto body, and equipment operators were some of the professions represented today.
