Class 3 (1.75" hail resistance) vs Class 4 (2" hail resistance) shingle roofs. Class 4 shingles are built around a rubber core instead of a fiberglass core and mitigate hail damage. They held up the best with this storm, even compared to metal roofs, and are typically always less expensive than metal. It usually only costs around 1000-2000 more for the class four, and the labor charge is the same to install them. After seeing some of these class 4 shingle roofs hold up to in some cases greater than 2" hail, its a no brainer. We offer in house financing. Get a Bison Roof.
