Exterior door clear coat failure exposing Alder wood to long hours in the hot sun causing the wood to gray.

We stripped off the old clear coat, used a cleaner that brightens the wood, then sanded the door.

Next we applied a premium clear stain, then three coats of premium color stain that was matched to the exterior porch ceiling and decorative corbels, before finishing with three coats of premium clear with a UV protectant.

Maybe you don’t need to paint the whole house.

Our clients wanted an elevated look, but weren’t ready for a full exterior paint.

So we did a thorough wash and cleaning on the house exterior which helped a lot.

Then we custom-mixed two complementary colors to add much needed contrast to the trim.

We did specialty wood graining finish on the porch posts, corbels, and the garage door.

All of this work was done on the first story only.

And the whole house changed.

You don’t have to paint everything to change everything.
