Phase 1 of this project is pretty well wrapped up!
Eliminated the old busted patio that’s hidden under the snow in these pictures. (Was the best place for it 😆) installed a retaining wall, concrete steps to the upper patio and a brand new lower concrete patio.

We wanted to make this patio usable by the Memorial Day weekend… and even with the ridiculous amounts of rain, we did just that!

Still to come:
💥New railing on upper patio
💥Stacked stone raised flower bed
💥Roof covering upper and part of lower patio
💥Electricity-receptacles, ceiling fans, and lights
💥New landscape and lawn

This automotive life had an air line leak that needed attention. We removed the concrete and dug down about 10 feet to expose the damaged air line. After it was repaired things were backfilled, concrete was poured and this bay was back in business.

Winter is over! At least it seems like we’re out of the worst of it. Finally! The ground has thawed, and actually dried out pretty quick.

That means it’s full steam ahead.

We got this basement knocked out at the end of the week last week. All ready for footers and walls.

The best part of being the excavator on a new home build, is being the first one in and the last one out. Can’t wait to see this project come together. And very excited for the homeowners to get to see it take shape as well!
