Two LA200 Scholarships Awarded!

Congratulations to our two LA200 scholarship recipients for the 2026-2027 academic year: Dominic Morda and Bryson Bishop!

Dominic is the son of employee Jen Callaghan. He will be attending Western Carolina University in the fall for Engineering. Dominic graduates from Boiling Springs tonight – so what a great Grad Gift!

Bryson has been working part-time for Lobar Design and Engineering since high school! He is entering his senior year at Penn State Harrisburg for Engineering. This is his 3rd year for receiving the scholarship – well deserved!

Another Successful project!
Lobar Site completes Dairy Road Bridge replacement in April 2026.
Located in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, one of our exceptional in-house Lobar Site bridge crews replaced the Dairy Road (T-341) bridge superstructure over Little Conestoga Creek Tributary. Minor roadway improvements for both approaches were also required due to new deck elevation changes. As always, completed on time and budget - even freezing temperatures and snowy conditions couldn’t stop our guys!

To celebrate spring and Mother’s Day, Lobar Associates sponsored another “Ladies of Lobar” event on Thursday May 7th.

Our LA200 Angel Fund wellness team set up a lovely Tea Party and Macrame Class for employees, employee spouses and adult daughters. Needless to say, it was a JOY-filled evening with our excellent instructor Katelin from Horizons Creative Studio. Everyone created their own personal macrame plant holder and received a pot and plants to put it right to use!

LA200 Angel Fund, Lobar Company’s in-house wellness program, held two “New Year New You" Raffles for those employees that went for their annual doctor or dentist visits. The prizes were a “recharge weekend getaway” for two. Congratulations to Matt K. for winning the field personnel drawing! He and his wife chose an Orlando, Florida getaway in February. Looks like they had a fantastic trip!
