This project here makes me upset the most while in the trade. I went to a customers house who had recently paid for a 100-200amp upgrade from another electrician in the area. From my understanding paid a hefty amount also. The last few pictures are the results from the first electrician. Clearly still a 100 amp meter and panel, along with messy install, a stove wire running right through a door way, and a nail driven right through one of the hot legs.
The first few are from us coming in and cleaning up the wiring properly. Re-doing the panel, along with a new 200 AMP meter. We also added better lighting and fixed the stove wire. We take pride in our work and quality / customer support will always be #1.
While the market is getting flooded with new electricians, be sure to take your time, do your homework on the business you’re looking at hiring, ask for references. It’s easy to take the cheapest, but sometimes they turn into the most expensive when you have to call someone else to fix the mistakes.
